Do I need to audition and be able to sing?

No, The Harmonners welcome everyone. Just come along, you will be surprised what sound we can all produce together.

Do I need to be able to read music?

No. We learn each song section by section. Sheet music is available to those who prefer it, otherwise we simply use the provided lyric sheets.

When & where do you rehearse?

We rehearse on a Monday 7:30pm - 9:30pm at Cubbington Social Club, Windmill Hill, Cubbington, Leamington Spa CV32 7LN

How much does it cost?

It is £5 per session, your 1st one is FREE. We are a non-profitable organisation and the fee is simply to cover costs. We understand work and family commitments, therefore we don't tie you into a monthly direct debit; just pay per session.

How do I join?

Either just come down, you would be made most welcome or contact us for more information. We don't have particular weeks/terms where it's best to join. We're always in the middle of learning new songs and practicing old ones. The best way to learn is come down in join the fun!

What type of people come along?

We pride oursleves on the diversity of the choir. We have a mixture of ages and abilities. There are a few in their early 20's right up to 70 plus we have a good range of male voices (which can be rare in a community choir). We have some excellent voices as well as those who have never sung before. Everyone is welcome, you'll be surprised what sound you could make amongst friends.

What do I need to bring with me?

  • Ideally a folder to keep the music in
  • A pencil to make notes
  • Bottle of water
